Summary
The Cadrix website at cadrixflow.com sets no cookies until you choose. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets two cookies to count visits; if you decline, nothing is set and nothing is sent to Google. The Cadrix app at app.cadrixflow.com sets only the essential cookies needed to keep you signed in and stores some interface preferences in your browser. We do not use advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer of the website.
The website (cadrixflow.com)
Before you make a choice, the website’s own scripts set no cookies and send nothing to Google. Your choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage under the key cx-consent (value granted or denied). The only other third-party request the website makes is for fonts; see Fonts.
The app (app.cadrixflow.com): cookies
These cookies are essential: without them you cannot stay signed in, so they do not need your consent. All three are set by Cadrix itself (first-party), marked HttpOnly so page scripts cannot read them, and sent only over HTTPS with the SameSite=Lax setting.
| Cookie | Purpose | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| token | Short-lived sign-in session that identifies you to the service | Currently 6 hours |
| refreshToken | Renews your session without asking you to sign in again | Currently 30 days |
| cadrixPending | Holds a half-completed sign-in while you choose which organisation or workspace to enter | 15 minutes |
The cookies are deleted when you sign out. The lifetimes above are our current settings and may change; a longer or shorter value does not change what the cookie is for.
The app: browser storage
The app also uses your browser’s local storage and session storage, which are similar to cookies but are not sent to our servers with each request. It holds:
- your signed-in profile and the permissions and features your role has, so the interface can show the right screens (for example the keys
user,permissionsandfeatures); - interface preferences such as list sort order and page size;
- a copy of node or workflow data you use to copy and paste or duplicate a workflow;
- in session storage, the sign-in details used while you choose an organisation.
None of this is used for advertising or analytics. It is removed when you sign out or when you clear your browser’s site data.
Analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics 4 on the website, only if you accept analytics in the banner. It helps us see which pages are useful and which links are clicked, so we can improve the site. If you accept, Google Analytics sets two first-party cookies: _ga and _ga_NQNJQWS1F6, which identify a browser anonymously and last up to two years. We measure page views, scrolls, outbound clicks and clicks on our sign-up, demo and docs buttons. IP addresses are anonymised, and we have turned off Google signals and ad personalisation. The data is processed by Google on our behalf; see our Privacy Policy. If you decline, or if your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, analytics is not loaded. The app does not use analytics or advertising cookies. We do not share browsing data with advertising networks.
To change your choice, use “Cookie settings” in the website footer. If you withdraw consent, we remove the Google Analytics cookies from your browser.
Fonts
This page, and the other legal pages, serve their fonts from our own server. Some other pages of this website, and the app, load the Inter and Geist fonts from Google Fonts. When a page does this, your browser contacts Google’s servers, which receive your IP address and standard request details. Google does not set a cookie for us through this, but you can avoid the request by using a browser or extension that blocks third-party fonts. We are working towards serving all fonts ourselves.
How to control cookies
You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings; see the help pages of Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge. If you block the essential cookies in the app you will not be able to sign in. Clearing site data for app.cadrixflow.com signs you out and resets your saved interface preferences.
Changes to this policy
If we start to use any non-essential cookie or tool, we will update this page first and ask for your consent where the law requires it. The “Last updated” date above shows the current version. More about how we handle personal data is in the Privacy Policy.
